Atlantic Marina Holdings Becomes PORT 32 Marinas

Press Release | July 31, 2018

Atlantic Marina Holdings, LLC (AMH), a Charleston, South Carolina-based marina owner has announced that it is rebranding to PORT 32. Atlantic Marina Holdings has been an industry leader in the acquisition, development, redevelopment, and operation of both dry and wet slip marinas. Its current portfolio includes four high-profile Florida marinas—PGA Marina in Palm Beach Gardens, Ft. Lauderdale Boatyard & Marina on the New River in Fort Lauderdale, Tierra Verde Marina Resort just south of St. Pete and recently-acquired Tampa Harbour in Tampa. PGA and Fort Lauderdale are under redevelopment and will be all new, state-of-the-art facilities when complete in 2019. Tierra Verde was completed in 2015 and Tampa Harbour in 2008.

“After completion of our redevelopments in Palm Beach Gardens and Fort Lauderdale, we will be among the largest slip owners in the state of Florida at approximately 2,600 slips,” states Joe Miller, PORT 32’s managing principal. “We believe it is time to link our portfolio together in a way that creates benefits and efficiencies for our company and our customers.”

“While we are Florida-focused, as we believe the state is the true center of boating in the U.S., we chose “32” because it means something to us. It is the latitude for Charleston, where our company originated and our headquarters is located. Throughout all aspects of our business, we are committed to the “PORT 32” brand, which signifies the highest quality in all marina-related capabilities, facilities and customer service. We further intend to continue to focus on quality of location and market, rather than quantity,” says Miller.

All four existing Florida marinas are renamed as part of the rebranding, resulting in PORT 32 Palm Beach Gardens, PORT 32 Fort Lauderdale, PORT 32 Tierra Verde and Port 32 Tampa. Each of the Florida facilities is overseen by PORT 32 Management.

Additionally, PORT 32 Management continues to operate three existing marina properties in Charleston, these being Ripley Light Drystack, Shem Creek Marina, and the Harborage at Ashley Marina.
